         Mtrl9_5 === Blimp and Nun's Island Scenery, Montral, Qubec

Made only for FS2004 and will not work in previous versions.

         ==============================================================

These files add the Good Year Blimp flying (as ai traffic) over Montral Harbor and the islands. It also adds tall buildings in Nun's Island.

         ===============================================================

I wish to thank Tom Constantine who made the blimp fly around (Tom did all the hard work) and Bill Lyons who supplied the Good Year Blimp.

If you do not know of Bill's fantastic work please visit his Golden Eagle Squadron web site at: http://windrfters.com/

I also thank Bill Derenburger and Jean Morissette for beta testing these files.
Also thanks to John de Langristin for the buildings.

I must not forget Tom Hiscox and Brian McWilliams for the program "Airport for Windows". I thank also Martin Wright for the program DXT. I also thank Lee Swordy for the program afcad.

          ===============================================================

NOTE: to help frame rate, for Nuns' Island,I used the same buildings as on the South Shore.

In the attached pictures you will see items not included, such as the rotating beacon. Those are part of other issues I made of the Montral scenery. You can download those at either AvSim or FlightSim.com. Make a search for author Leon Louis under FS2004 scenery.

I made these sceneries without the use of any mesh. If you are using a mesh, I have no idea how it will work if it does work at all.

           ===============================================================

Nit pickers and bug chasers are not welcomed to send me their comments. You do not like it, sorry, I will double your money back if need be.

I N S T A L L A T I O N

Place the complete 'Gyai' folder as is in your: xxxxxxxxFlight Simulator 9 / aircraft

EITHER 1- Place the complete 'Mtl5' folder to where you usually put your scenery folders and activate in the scenery library.

   OR

BETER 2- You can put the contents only of the Mtl5 / scenery folder into the
         scenery folder of another Mtl or Qubec Short Hops scenery if you have
         one of these. If not, use option 1 above

         Then do the same with the contents of the texture folder and insert it
         in the texture folder of the already installed scenery.

Place the CONTENTS ONLY of the addon scenery folder into:
          xxxxxxxxxxxxFlight Simulator 9 / addon scenery / scenery (notice there
          is a second 'scenery' word, frequently overlooked mistake)

Place the CONTENTS ONLY of the traffic folder into:
           xxxxxxxxxxxxFlight Simulator 9 / scenery / World / scenery

That is it, time to RESTART your simulator and enjoy

Make sure that the settings in your options allow for ai traffic. That is from your task bar: OPTION / SETTINGS / TRAFFIC

IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT STARTING POINTS AND THE FLIGHT SCHEDULE OF THE BLIMP

If you are using the menu to go to the site, please use parking 2. Parking 1 is for the blimp and runway starts will prevent the blimp from taking-off. Better still, take-off from one of the airports around.

Also, please bear in mind that the blimp starts flying at 7:15 am, takes a lunch break about noon (union regulations) and does not fly at night.
